Training:

The most affordable, custom certification training ... of the scientifically-based integrative techniques like guided imagery and other research-supported tools ... that fits easiest into your own busy schedule.

This 2-day certification training is most often held on-site at whatever hospital is requesting training for key staff members. But as an individual, you can also request to attend an off-site training. Please check the calendar for the latest scheduled times and location, but feel free to send an email to Dr. Jost to let her know that you are interested in attending one soon:

To complete the requirements for certification, one must attend a 2-day (16-hour), classroom-style, interactive training, complete 4 hours of personalized and customizable training (by phone), and pass a written take-home exam, all of which must be completed within 1 year.

The classroom hours have been approved for continuing education credits by various professional accrediting organizations:

• 14 CEUs by the Missouri Nurses Association, American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
• 16 CEUs from the State Committe for Social Workers, Division of Professional Registration
• 14 CCEs from the Association of Professional Chaplains

You can receive a certificate of completion for these continuing education hours from the association of your choice before you leave the classroom on the second day. It is your responsibility, however, to determine what continuing education credits meet the requirements of your own profession and state.

Requirements for class:

Attendees are usually professionals who have been serving in some capacity around the physical and/or psychological care of others, but wish to learn more about how to help their patients or clientelle incorporate the power of the bodymind (about which our scientific research is constantly learning more).

Although every attempt is made to help all students understand the material, there are some very deep but exciting and graspable concepts that are taught in this class, and the format of using classroom and private instruction will help everyone to feel more competent in the various areas of learning.

You will very likely find your colleagues in attendance if you are from any of the following professions:

Cost for certification training:

Regular registration of $1200 includes 16 hours of classroom training and 4 hours of private, personalized training via phone with your professor in one or two-hour increments.

But your timing could not be better if you are ready to get certified ...

There are currently now 25 scholarships (of $400) available on a first-come, first-serve basis, from ONE Health Institute, a nonprofit organization, to further the education of integrative techniques for professionals who might not otherwise be able to attend as a part of the Healing Images Across America Project!

(There WERE 30 scholarships, but 5 are already taken!)

With a $400 scholarship, your tuition for THIS class is only $800.

So apply for one of these $400 scholarships (before they are all assigned) by just selecting this option on your registration form, or using the appropriate link for the online enrollment form.

To those who still wish to register with the full $1200 tuition payment, you might be happy to know that a portion of your payment goes toward the support of further scholarship funding.

What all symposium attendees receive:

Students will receive a manual of complete, supportive materials that offer various guided imagery scripts for your clients' needs.

The topics for these two days include:

1. Neuroplasticity … your mind’s ability to learn new behaviors and rewire itself
2. Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) … your mind’s ability to change your body’s chemistry
   
3. Neurolinguistic program (NLP) … the ability to change your perception of an event
   
4. Epigenetics … the ability to alter your DNA by changing nutritional & emotional environmental factors
   
5. Guided imagery, hypnosis, and other integrative tools … to help you achieve more satisfaction in the work you do every day

After completing the classroom instruction, each student will receive a comprehensive set of published materials (programs, books, and CDs) by Dr. Jost that are valued at over $350.

Also available are the 14 to 16 continuing education credits through various professional associations. (But it is up to you to determine what is applicable to the requirements of your own particular profession and state).

Those students who complete these 16 hours of classroom, schedule an additional 4 hours of private instruction via phone, and pass a take-home exam (within one year of attending this symposium), receive a renewable 5-year Healing Images™ Guided Imagery Certification.
